The Battle of Sullivan’s Island

The life of Jasper is most interesting during the period of the Battle of Sullivan’s Island on June 28, 1776. As a sergeant in the 2nd South Carolina Regiment, Jasper demonstrated valor that would see his name written in the history of America.
